IoT (Internet of Things) / M2M (Machine to Machine) market will reach 1900 trillion yen, bigger than IT market. But the key element of huge IoT/M2M market will be IT. Also IT will contribute to next generation car, airplane, robot, and medical industry. Under this condition, new era of electronic devices will open. In this session, I'm going to report technology and investment trend of leading edge capacitors, embedded passive devices PCB, and next generation sensors.

Graduated from Chiba University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electronic Engineering in 1973.
Began working at Nippon Kogaku K.K. (now Nikon Corporation) in the same year.
Assigned to the Camera Designing Department in 1975. Began designing electrical circuitry for the Nikon F3.
Advanced to a leadership role in the design of electrical circuitry for the Nikon F4, and product leader for the Nikon F5.
Appointed General Manager of the Camera Development Department in 1997 where he oversaw development of film cameras and other pruoducts. Appointed General Manager of the Development Headquarters in 2004 where he was in charge of the development of digital-SLR cameras including the D3, interchangeable lenses, compact digital cameras, software, and more. Became an operating officer in 2004, and Vice President of Imaging Company in 2007. Has been a Nikon Fellow since 2009. -
