was held in 2009 to provide an opportunity for discussion among electronic device developers,who seem to have almost lost the spirit of “Monotsukuri (product manufacturing),” and manufacturers of electronic parts, devices, integrated semiconductor circuits, and electronic circuits (all components of electronic equipment), in order to eliminate the current feeling of stagnation in the industry. Application of large electronic technology to solar power generation, LEDs, organic EL light, etc. is expected as it can not only contribute to lowering energy consumption,but also create highly functional devices. At the , exhibitions, reference exhibitions, and keynote addresses will be delivered to introduce these large electronics products and to describle the relationship between advanced technologies and electronic circuits, which is the foundation of “Monotsukuri”.

At the Academic Plaza sponsored by the Japan Institute of Electronics Packaging; universities, public research institutes,and related parties will exhibit posters and booths highlighting their latest research results to the industrial world and to visitors in order to provide opportunities for academic-industrial alliances and for new technology development and business collaboration.
