Taimide technology, Ltd. and Arakawa chemical Industries, Ltd. have co-developed "Pomiran" - the polyimide silica hybrid film which has a structure of nano-silica dispersing in polyimide matrix. This film can form the metal seed layer by giving a spatter and wet plating, and shows high metallic adhesion and durability. Therefore, "Pomiran" enables the semi-additive process using R to R process with wet plating technology.
