at the Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo.

, one of the leading exhibitions of the electronic circuits industry in the
world, will come to its 36^th show this time. And the

is a
professional exhibition, which gathers front line engineers whose specialty are on the R&D
and design of the cutting-edge electronics packaging technology, will meet with its 20^th
show this time. These successes cannot be achieved without the support and corporation
of all the members, exhibitors and correlative personnel. Here, we would like to express our
deepest appreciation to all of them.

The two shows above have a long history along with the drastically of changes in electronics
industry, such as shifting production base abroad, accelerating global business and solution
developments of environmental problems and so on.

In the difficult conditions, Japanese electronic circuits industry must continuously provide
the most advanced - and unique-technologies for the customers. In the past electronics/electric
industry, there were many "Made in Japan" products in the world, as well as the slogan of
"Technology-Based Japan". However, since the electronics/electric providers continually
invest abroad, domestic industry was long hollowed. We hope that we can get back the golden
days of Japanese manufacturing industry with taking. "Most advanced technology = High
Quality & High Reliability" as motto. We should keep on carrying forward the "Japan Spirit"
and the electronic circuits and packaging industry make the motto into something realized.
